Community Impact Partnership

Up the Impact!

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

3 Rivers Outdoor Company prides itself on being Pittsburgh’s Hub for the Outdoor Community, and recognizes the power of collaboration to influence positive change in the Pittsburgh region. The shop partners with local breweries and environmental or recreation-based nonprofit organizations on a semiannual basis to host mission-specific and fundraising events, raising funds for nonprofit partners through beers poured for donation at the in store tap at 3ROC.

Whether you are attending a Community Campfire on a Friday night, a Knot Tying workshop, a film festival, or just want to enjoy a tasty, locally brewed beer while you shop; you are supporting the important work of local nonprofits with every sip!

OUR CURRENT PARTNERS

Allow us to Introduce…our Community Impact Partners for July through December 2024!

3ROC is excited to partner with Friends of the Riverfront and 11th Hour Brewing as our Community Impact Partners for summer & fall 2024. The partnership will officially kick off on Wednesday, July 17 with games and a happy hour celebration on the patio at 3ROC. Beer from 11th Hour will be on tap at the shop, available for a $5 donation benefiting Friends of the Riverfront's mission. The partners will also collaborate on a series of monthly events showcasing Friends of the Riverfront's mission.

ABOUT FRIENDS OF THE RIVERFRONT

Since 1991, Friends of the Riverfront has worked to protect and restore the riverfront in the Pittsburgh region through trail development and stewardship after decades of legacy pollution. The Three Rivers Heritage Trail now encompasses 35 miles of urban and suburban riverfront trails along both banks of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio rivers. Through broad and diverse collaborations, we continue to work towards and promote environmental restoration, economic vitality, and public health benefits for Allegheny County and Southwestern Pennsylvania.
