Michaux State Forest - great trails, great camping, great memories

Osprey Poco Child Carrier. Great pack and allows me to take my little buddy everywhere. (Previous favorite gear - Nittany Mountain Works Hip Pack - well built, holds lots of gear, and tough. Goes on all bikes rides, long trail runs)

Small business that wants to get people outside having fun

Where are you from?
I group up just down the road from the shop in Turtle Creek, and spent my highschool years hanging out in Regent Square with friends.

Do you have any unique talents?
I am a percussionist

What are your favorite hobbies?
Whitewater Kayaking, Backpacking, Family Adventuring, Mountain Biking

What is your favorite piece of outdoor gear?
My Rab Kinetic rain coat, a good rain coat serves many adventures and saves many adventures from becoming the worst of trips because no one wants to be wet or wet and cold. Second best is our families Osprey Poco pack, getting our toddler daughter out on the trail has been doable because of the Poco.

How long have you worked at 3ROC?
Been working at 3ROC since the very beginning. 3ROC opened in 2018 but began as a vision from a ski trip to Montana in 2013.

Favorite thing about working at 3ROC?
Seeing people find their people or their community. I love seeing the regulars at run club, or the weekly firepit and knowing they show up week after week because they found their place and their connections with close friends through some of the trips or events we have organized. The best was when one of our long-time customers met his wife at the weekly Tuesday runs and they had their engagement photos at the shop.

Where are you from?
I've lived in Munhall, PA as well as Ohiopyle, PA.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Summer - SUP both recreational & whitewater, MTB. Winter - Backcountry Skiiing/Splitboarding, Alpine Snowboarding.

What is your favorite outdoor spot?
Ohiopyle State Park and McConnells Mill State Park, and a few other places most folks don't know of.

What is your favorite piece of gear?
My hardtail mountain bike, I ride a Salsa Timberjack with 27.5 tires on it. Single track and adventure rides with my dog.

For about two weeks and counting, excited for the future.

Getting to talk about outdoor gear and all the community events.

My Nemo temp 20 degree sleeping bag. I’ve been using it to nap in, and to hibernate on my couch while reading
