Sore muscles and achy joints can sometimes be the side effects during and after a great adventure. Countering your outdoor activities with a little yoga can help you strengthen overworked muscles, be more flexible, and balance when the terrain gets rocky. In this class, learn poses that you can use on or off the trail/water to enhance your wilderness experience. This class is geared towards every- body. No prior experience necessary. Veronica is a yoga instructor at I Am Yoga in Squirrel Hill. She credits yoga for deepening her love of nature. By practicing yoga she found an increase in strength, balance, and mindfulness that translates off of the mat and into her adventures. When Veronica is not teaching, you may find her camping, hiking, and kayaking with her husband and rescue pup or exploring Pittsburgh.
Please Bring your own yoga mat. Yoga will be outside unless weather prohibits and will then be held inside the store.
